Having now joined your website after hearing "Standing on the Shore" (on JJJ) which I love....I am now just BLOWN AWAY with "We are the People" BUT! it's the video it is spectacular. the set is awesome, magical and mystical with substance. Congrats to Josh for such outstanding direction and achievement. The Mexican influence including the "Day of the Dead" scenes were just amazing and such a delight to view inside footage of the making of the video! On that note the chorus of "I can't do well when I think you're gonna leave but I know I'll try, are you gonna leave me now, can't you believing now" hits such a chord in my heart, a tug in fact that I actually cry! And the end lyrics of stating you can know so intimately and intensely someone so well and for them to know you is mind blowing because not all of us will necessarily experience that level of closeness with another as it's a true gift of LOVE: Are we all so deserving of this rapture? It's great to be able to capture these emotions and the song is perfect. My favourite part is towards the end in that forest/waterfall area when the VIBE for me really comes together....I love the Mick Jagger dance influences ha ha ha!! The other video that wins me is "Walking on a Dream" it's just FANTASTIC. You guys both exude such a dynamic fusion on screen together....the effect is awe inspiring because you have PRESENCE. The one thing I have to say about it- the Chorus needs to be extended! Is there any way 'I can't do well when i think you're gonna leave me, but I know I'll try, are you gonna leave me now, can't you be believing now' can be extended and repeated so it's sung four of five times, if this track existed, I would pay ridiculous amounts to own it. Website only track perhaps?
