Emperor Steele win GQ 2009 Man of the Year Award

Emperor Steele has taken out the 2009 GQ Man Of The Year Award in the Music Act Of The Year category!With tight competition within in the music category, Luke Steele has beaten Daniel Merriweather, Wolfmother and fellow EMI label mates, Keith Urban and JET.Staged inside the historical Great Hall of Sydney University on Thursday night, the GQ Awards honoured leading Australian men across the arts, sport, politics, business and community service.

Luke was unable to attend the awards ceremony due to upcoming touring commitments but recorded this brilliant acceptance speech played to all those in attendance.
