Entourage and the PS22 Chorus take to The Empire

The Empire are taking over the USA.

Recently Standing On The Shore was featured on the hit comedy series Entourage… and we can now announce that We Are The People will be featured on the September 20 episode of the very same show. Get the Tivo ready but keep an ear out for We Are The People in the ad breaks too!

In far cuter Empire news, the brilliant kids of the PS22 Chorus have taken on The Empire’s tune The World for their appearance at The Bandstand in Central Park at the NYC Dept. of Education’s Back To School Bash. Apparently they only learned the The World that morning!

The PS22 Chorus are a choir of fifth graders from Public School 22 on Staten Island, N.Y. who, directed by Gregg Breinberg, have become a global sensation. They have clocked up 9 million YouTube views, been on Nightline and MTV, and have sung with Tori Amos and Stevie Nicks!

A new Empire of the Sun game has now been released on the Apple iTunes app store, giving fans the opportunity to challenge themselves on multiple levels before being able to reach the final level and unlock the Secrets of the Empire.

The seven level game will take you on a Journey to the Silver City, The Temple of the Clouds, The Forgotten Desert, The Stars of Truth, The Garden of No Return, The Gate of Neptune’s Fury and The Cave of Endless Echoes before you can reach the end and be rewarded with the free secret track.

Emperor Steele - King of the Bling!

On the eve of Empire Of The Sun’s highly anticipated debut live performances at Parklife next month, comes the exciting news that Emperor Luke Steele will appear on the forthcoming new Jay-Z record whilst also celebrating Gold UK album sales for Walking On A Dream.

Luke Steele joins an elite line-up of r’n'b & hip-hop artists on Jay-Z’s upcoming record The Blueprint 3 (released September 11 through Warner Music) and appears on the first track, titled What We Talkin’ About - Jay-Z + Luke Steele (of Empire Of The Sun). Other guest performers include Rihanna, Kanye West, Pharrell, Alicia Keys, Kid Cudi, Drake and more.

The USA action doesn’t stop there with hit comedy series Entourage, recently airing an episode in Season 6 which featured Standing On The Shore and further news that We Are The People is to be featured in an upcoming episode very soon.

To the other side of the globe, album sales of Walking On A Dream have exceeded Gold status (100,000+) with global album sales now surpassing 300,000. So far, the album has been a Top 30 hit throughout Europe with chart success in Belgium (30 peak), Italy (27), Switzerland (15), Ireland (17) and UK (19). On top of this, over 570,000 single Empire Of The Sun tracks have been officially downloaded worldwide.

On top of all this news, Without You will be the fourth single released from Walking On A Dream. This new version of the track was mixed by Jeremy Wheatley (Sugababes, Sam Sparro, Simian Mobile Disco, Royksopp) and will be released as a digital bundle on September 25. The single includes Without You (new version), Walking On A Dream (Treasure Fingers Remix), Standing On The Shore (Losers Remix) and Without You (album version).
