Empire Of The Sun will be one of the main-stage headline acts at Australia’s Parklife Festival occurring between 26 Sept and 5 Oct 2009. These dates will mark the first ever live performances by Empire Of The Sun whose debut album Walking On A Dream has surpassed platinum sales in Australia, propelled by the hits Walking On A Dream, We Are The People and new single Standing On The Shore. Walking On A Dream has also been nominated for Song Of the Year at the 2009 APRA Awards.

Front-man and vocalist Emperor Steele says “The show is going to be epic, full of colours, dinosaur-teeth chomping at the valleys of future. It will be more outrageous than the scents of imagination and will take the audience on a journey to another world.”

Lord Littlemore, who does not perform in the live show, says “We created the music as a celebration, this is an exciting new chapter in the Empire journey”.
